Rochelle Howell is an execution coach & strategic partner for food industry leaders. With over 22 years of experience in food safety, public health, regulatory compliance, and food entrepreneurship, she helps business owners bring structure, clarity, and confidence to the work behind their food.
Her career began in public health, where she worked as a County Health Inspector conducting inspections and foodborne illness investigations. She went on to lead corporate food safety and quality programs for ALDI and Save A Lot, where she built large-scale systems, trained teams, approved GFSI-certified suppliers, and developed integrated pest management programs from the ground up.
Now, Rochelle partners with food entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and startup founders to turn chaos into clarity—coaching them through managing people and incidents, compliance strategy, SOPs, audit readiness, and operations. Whether she’s supporting a new vendor getting licensed or a school meal program prepping for expansion, she’s the go-to support behind the scenes.
She also brings firsthand experience in running food businesses and understands the real-life challenges of scaling without sacrificing safety or sanity. In addition to her consulting work, Rochelle serves on the Board of Directors for ShoeHeals, supporting strategic planning and nonprofit impact initiatives.
Rochelle is deeply committed to creating a more diverse, inclusive, and prepared food industry—especially by equipping underestimated entrepreneurs and mentoring youth to step into leadership, ownership, and innovation. Through coaching, programming, and future-focused initiatives, she’s helping build the next generation of food industry professionals and business owners.
